This East Java agency boss is my friend and he gives me the best prices as a goodwill gesture of his friendship so we can enjoy the best hotels and accommodation in the best locations to visit the many amazing places of attractions and dine in the best restaurants in the East Jawa region. He usually plans short trips to Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen and Tumpak Sewu Waterfalls but this itinerary is a very special arrangement I planned with him for us to experience the best of Batu City, Malang and Surabaya we have both curated. In return of his kindness, I had written and will write more on Google review and Tripadvisor to thank and support him. 

An exclusive invite is extended to friends of Lynn from APAC who can come for at least 4D3N for this mid May 2025 East Jawa tour. A private driver who speaks in both English and Bahasa Indonesia will fetch you to and fro from the Surabaya Airport to our location based on our daily itinerary, on your specific arrival and departure dates. We have 2 outstanding and caring private drivers assigned to us, Ika and Arwin. You can’t help but fall in love with super affable Ika and Arwin drives like Batman! The drivers are one of us and very important as they ensure our safe travels in their comfortable black 8-seaters. As part of our group, they will join in our fun and dine with us too. Their homes are in Malang and Surabaya and I especially request for their VIP presence to join in our trip. 

This special itinerary is planned in such a way you can choose 8D7N, 5D4N, 4D3N or 3D2N based on your schedules for this gathering, wherever you are flying in from. Even if you wish to just chillax or work on your laptop anytime you don’t feel like heading out, you can do so in the Hotel, Villa or Resort. All accommodation come with breakfast, very nice clean pool and Wifi. The well furnished modern villas and resort hotel we have chosen are mountain-view facing, and within 15-30 mins drive to the places of attractions we are going. You can rent bikes to cycle around the vicinity but don’t get lost in the waterfalls. You can rest a thousand hearts no Tigers, Anacondas and wild boars will come near our dwelling, and we are not camping overnight in the wild. Occasional howling of werewolves may be heard though so be prepared. At Surabaya, we will be staying right in the eclectic city center at Platinum Hotel. I will be bringing card games and boardgames to play too, and get breakfast items, fruits, milk and carton of mineral water at the minimart for everyone arriving to Batu City villas. I will be bringing my selfie stick and foldable standee for photography and video shoots too. You would need to bring your own drones if you wish.

The costs of group meals shared will be split equally, unless you prefer ala carte and be lone ranger. Flight, accommodation and incidentals are on own expenses. I have soft booked Malang Artha Cottages Hotel rooms [4x25sqm King Bedded Double + 2x15sqm Double Bedded] & Surabaya Platinum Hotel rooms [4xDouble Bedded & 2xTwin-Bedded all 25sqm] for better rates and before they are wiped out closer to dates. They are cancellable by 2 May 2025. All are non-smoking rooms with ensuite bathrooms facing the pool with mountain views and good breakfast for 2.

The costs of travel will be split equally and fairly, based on the days you are joining us. It covers all drivers’ fees, their batmobile rental, toll fees, our cool red jeeps up the mountain, and meals. Entry fees are about $12 on average for East Java places of attractions. Yes! I kid you not! Imagine going to Universal Studio SG and Legoland at only $12, but only at East Jawa!

The agency is working on the estimated full itinerary costs meanwhile and I will let you know once finalized. We are not expected to spend beyond S$750 per pax for the full 8D7N inclusive of Jetstar airfares, accommodation, entrance fees, sightseeing, drivers, transport, and F&B, not counting shopping and your other additional incidentals.
